I wish for you that special something that everyone says the holiday is about but which defies all attempts at packaging. It's love.

I wish you the kind of romantic love that has you snuggling with that special someone wrapped in the ribbons of each others arms. I wish you the promise of love unfolding through the years like the petals of an intricate Christmas bow. I wish you the music that fits just right in your hearts like a puzzle piece that links the two of you together. Down the years just a few notes is all that it will take to make you young again and remember the love of your youth.

I wish you the human kindness love that has you feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, comforting the hurting in the Name of GOD and realizing it's the most wonderful gift you have ever received. Just sharing a word, a smile, an encouragement to soothe the scratches life has put in each of us as we stumble through it, sometimes on our knees.

Most of all I wish you the spiritual kind of love that GOD has for you. The friend that is closer than a brother kind of love.
